Children’s Ministry at Zion focuses on the understanding that we, as Lutherans, value planned activities with intellectual depth. All components of our Children’s Ministries are developmentally appropriate, fun, and educational. This ministry helps children learn about their Christian faith, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and link their faith to their daily lives.

Sunday School is for all children ages three-sixth grade!  Sunday School is from 8:30 - 9:15 on Sunday mornings. Our breaks follow those of the ICCSD academic calendar.  All kids will meet on the first floor of Zion. Leaders use a mix of the Spark and Holy Moly curriculum, as well as other children’s ministry resources which create meaningful learning and conversation.  During the 8:30 am hour each week, children will explore their faith, build relationships with friends and with God, create a craft, and end with music with Ms. Melanie!  Students also have the opportunity to take part in church events (e.g. Children’s Christmas Program, Easter Egg Hunt, Noisy offering, and singing in front of the congregation).   

There is no charge, all are welcome to attend!  Parents are free to attend along with their child or to drop them off and enjoy coffee and conversation upstairs in the fellowship hall.
